Based on income from personal exertion, before National Insurance and health contributions. It does not include personal credits and deductions (pension contributions, donations, development-area relief and others), which may reduce the tax substantially.

Income below the statutory minimum is charged on that minimum rather than on actual income. An estimate only — actual advance payments are set according to the declaration filed with the National Insurance Institute, and are reconciled at year end against actual income.
These calculators produce an estimate — not a binding computation.
Your actual liability depends on facts the calculator cannot know: income from other sources, personal credits and deductions, pension contributions, family status, development-area relief and withholding coordination. For a number you can rely on — talk to us.
